Villa Verde

Villa Verde is a family-owned guesthouse located in the quaint area of Assagay, in Durban, offering lovely views over the Umhlatuzana River wetland. The property comprises two comfortable guest rooms, each equipped with an en-suite bathroom, kitchenette, tea and coffee facilities, fireplace, and private entrance. Breakfast is served daily in the dining area or on the sunny deck, and dinner can be arranged upon request.

The 1.5-hectare property features spacious lawn areas where free-ranging geese roam, and Blue Dykers from the surrounding forests can be spotted. The guesthouse also has a resident Long Crested Eagle, and the calls of Fish Eagles are not uncommon in the area. Villa Verde is ideally situated for business travelers and athletes participating in events such as the Comrades Marathon, the Amashova Cycling Race, and the Hill to Hill Mountain Bike Race. The guest rooms are comfortably furnished and can accommodate two guests each.
