Vleiroos Cottage @ Sandberg Fynberg Reserve

Vleiroos Cottage is a self-catering accommodation that can accommodate up to four guests in the Sandberg Fynbos Reserve, which is a botanical hotspot situated in the Southern Overberg region. The cottage consists of two bedrooms, one equipped with a double bed and the other with two single beds, and a shared bathroom with a bathtub. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower with a view of the fynbos vegetation, which is available for use. Linen and towels are provided for the convenience of the guests.

The kitchen area is equipped with essential amenities such as a three-plate gas stove, a refrigerator, cutlery, crockery, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Guests can arrange for lunch and dinner services in advance upon arrival at the reception.

The cottage features a cozy lounge with a fireplace, leading to a sheltered patio area with braai facilities, where guests can relax and enjoy outdoor dining. It is important to note that the cottage does not have a TV or internet access, and pets are not allowed on the premises.

Guests can take advantage of various activities and attractions offered in the area. They can cool off in the dam, explore the farm on foot, embark on a two-hour Fynbos Safari, or participate in the 10.5-kilometer Pilgrimage Trail that stretches all the way to Elim. Vleiroos Cottage is located 6 kilometers from Elim and 12 kilometers from Baardskeerdersbos, providing easy access to a variety of attractions, activities, and restaurants in the surrounding areas.
