Vlettershof Guest House

Vlettershof Guest House, located at Loop Street in Robertson, Western Cape, South Africa, is a historic property dating back to 1864, making it one of the oldest houses in the area. After partially burning down in 2015, the current owners acquired and restored the property in September 2017, returning it to its former glory.

The guest house offers various accommodation options including three guest rooms (Jacaranda, Oregon, and Freylinia), a loft suite (Dassieshoek), and a self-catering cottage (Lourier). All units feature modern amenities including flatscreen TVs with Netflix and Showmax, bar fridges, climate control, en-suite bathrooms, and tea/coffee making facilities. The Dassieshoek Loft Suite and Lourier Cottage can each accommodate up to three adults, while the standard rooms accommodate two guests each.

Facilities at Vlettershof include a common lounge, library, complimentary high-speed 50 Mbps Wi-Fi, and a spacious backyard with braai (barbecue) facilities. Secure parking is provided behind a fence. The property features high ceilings, Oregon pine floors, and mountain views, maintaining its historic charm while offering modern conveniences.

Situated just 500 meters from Robertson's town center, guests can easily access local attractions including wine estates, the Robertson Art Gallery, olive and oil tasting experiences, restaurants, coffee shops, the Robertson Farmers Market, and the Klipdrift Distillery. The location in the old part of town allows visitors to explore the area's heritage on foot.
