Voorsorg Guest House & Cottages

Voorsorg Guest House & Cottages is located on a wine farm, 1 km from the central area of Vredendal. It offers guests a choice of lovely en-suite units or cottages. The en-suite units are comfortably furnished for two guests each, offering single, double or queen-size beds, and have either a bath or a shower en-suite. One of the rooms also features a small lounge area.

The cottages come with one, two, or three bedrooms, and all of them have private bathrooms with a shower or a bath and a shower. The cottages offer comfortable single, queen-size, or king-size beds. They are equipped with TVs, air-conditioning, kitchens, and braai facilities. Guests can enjoy scrumptious breakfasts in the dining room, relax by the swimming pool, or engage in wine tasting, as the farm produces its own wine.

Vredendal serves as an ideal base from which to explore Namaqualand, the Cape West Coast, and the Cederberg Mountains. It is located on the Olifants River Wine Route, and the Matzikama Eco-Park offers fantastic botanical and community gardens, a bird aviary, hiking trails, bird hides, and an eco-centre overlooking the Gifberg Mountain. When visiting at the end of October, guests can partake in the annual Rittelfees, and during the spring, they can enjoy the amazing sight of the mountains as they transform into a tapestry of beautiful colors.
