Vreugde Gasteplaas Self-Catering offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a peaceful farm atmosphere, surrounded by picturesque scenery. It is centrally located in the Eastern Free State between the towns of Warden and Bethlehem, approximately 18 km away from the N3, halfway between Johannesburg and Durban and en route from all the Cape provinces to Kruger National Park. This self-catering facility provides a perfect overnight-stay for guests to unwind in nature, away from the noise of trucks and traffic. It is conveniently situated between Bethlehem, Reitz, Kestell, Harrismith, and Vrede, allowing guests to explore the surrounding areas.
On-site facilities include 8 ensuite self-catering studios and a cottage that can accommodate up to 25 people. The complex, which houses 4 of these studios, is ideal for small group gatherings such as church camps and family reunions. It includes a chapel, dining/lounge area, a kitchen for catering for groups at an additional charge, a separate scullery, and a braai area in a beautiful courtyard. Sleeping arrangements can be adjusted to accommodate up to 34 people. Limited camping without power points and with shared ablution may be allowed by prior arrangement if all the above accommodation is utilized.
