Vyver's Rus is a charming stone and thatch self-catering cottage located on a private farm near Ladismith. The cottage overlooks a dam and is situated in the Klein Karoo, which is located at the foot of the Klein Swartberg mountain range. Ladismith is situated on Route 62 and is linked by tarred main roads to major centers such as Cape Town and Oudtshoorn, providing convenient access to the region.

The cottage offers a peaceful and tranquil environment, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh air and silence of the beautiful valley. It can accommodate up to seven guests and features a loft room, a private bathroom, and an open-plan living area. The living area includes a dining table and chairs, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable lounge area with a fireplace. Additionally, the living area leads out to a wooden balcony with a picnic bench, offering stunning views of the dam and mountains.

Although the cottage does not have electricity, it is equipped with a gas geyser for hot water, and the LED lights and refrigerator are powered by solar energy. Guests can engage in various activities in and around the area, such as hiking, horse riding, visiting the Little Karoo Wine Route, or exploring the Bontebok National Park. It is important to note that animals, including small dogs or any other pets, are not allowed at the cottage.

The cottage can comfortably accommodate up to seven guests and features a loft room, a private bathroom, and an open-plan living area. Children are charged an additional fee of R150 per person per night.
