Wagendrift Lodge is a self-catering accommodation situated in the heart of the Karoo, next to the Buffalo River, between Laingsburg and Ladismith, and on the route to Seweweekspoort. It is a peaceful and unique fully contained lodge. The lodge does not serve any meals or beverages; guests are required to bring their own food, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, drinking water, and other necessities.

The lodge is surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, offering guests the option to engage in leisurely activities such as bush walks and bird watching, or more physically demanding activities like swimming, mountain biking, motorcycle trails, or exploring 4x4 routes. Wagendrift Lodge is also suitable for team-building exercises.

It provides a getaway from the busy city life with no Wi-Fi or mobile signal available. The farm is located 30 kilometers from the nearest town, and there is no mobile signal on the R323 road leading to the farm.

The accommodation consists of three identical cottages, each comfortably accommodating four people. Each cottage has its own veranda with braai facilities, offering an amazing mountain view. Guests staying in the cottages have access to a shared swimming pool.
