Wagon Wheel Country Lodge

The Wagon Wheel Country Lodge, located just 1km from Beaufort West on the Johannesburg side of the N1, has undergone significant renovations under new ownership. The establishment has been thoughtfully restored while maintaining its charm, with particular attention paid to upgrading the deluxe rooms with high-quality white percale linen.

The lodge offers diverse accommodation options to cater to all types of travelers. These include Deluxe Rooms, Standard Rooms, Economy Rooms, Self-Catering Units, Backpacker facilities, and a Caravan Park, with a total capacity of up to 150 guests. Family rooms can accommodate up to six people, and the property features 24 newly renovated bathrooms.

Set against a backdrop of spectacular mountain and desert views, the lodge provides extensive amenities including two swimming pools, a boma with braai facilities, an à la carte restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, and a ladies bar. Additional facilities include conference rooms, WiFi in public areas, secure parking, and 24-hour reception. The establishment is both pet and wheelchair friendly.

The rooms are well-appointed with modern comforts such as air conditioning, heating, DSTV, and tea/coffee making facilities. The Family Deluxe rooms specifically feature a queen bed, single bed, and double bunk (not suitable for guests over 12 years), complete with a flat-screen TV and newly renovated bathroom including both bath and shower facilities.
