Waterland

Waterland Lodge is a family-owned and operated accommodation establishment located on the banks of the Hout Bay river. It is run by Grant and Silvia Viljoen along with their two young sons. The lodge offers an enchanting and idyllic natural setting, suitable for both business and leisure visitors.

The expansive grounds of Waterland Lodge ensure that each self-catering cottage is secluded yet beautifully blended into its natural landscape of towering oak trees, scampering squirrels, and glorious bird life. The lodge consists of several freestanding cottages, each with its own bathroom, kitchen, and patio with barbecue facilities, set in tranquil spacious gardens.

Each cottage offers complete privacy, modern amenities, and a host of additional services tailored to personal comfort. The facilities available in the cottages include a stove top, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, full bathroom, internet connection, patio, barbecue (braai) facilities, and ceiling fan. All rooms are non-smoking.

Situated on the slopes of the Constantiaberg mountains, Waterland Lodge provides guests with easy access to surrounding nature trails, local eateries, wine farms, bustling Hout Bay harbour, Camp's Bay beaches, Cape Town's central business district, and Cape Town's international airport. The lodge can accommodate a total of 25 people and can host boutique-type weddings for 40-50 people. The gardens are ideal for photography.

The property features a pool and children's play area to keep the kids entertained. The cottages are suitable for couples (King-size double) or two singles (Single Extra length beds) travelling together, offering open-plan kitchenettes, private bathrooms, patios, and braai areas that allow for outdoor dining. Free parking and free wi-fi are provided, and the rooms are serviced daily.
