Watersmeet Country Cottages is situated on the prestigious Walkersons Private Estate, located just 10 minutes from Dullstroom in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The estate spans 870 hectares of natural grassland and offers premium security features.

The property consists of two self-catering units: the main Watersmeet Cottage and Feathers Cottage. Watersmeet Cottage features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a queen-size bed in the carpeted master bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom offers two single beds that can be converted to a king-size, with a separate bathroom. It includes an open-plan lounge/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with gas/electric stove, fridge, washing machine, and dishwasher. A covered stoep with canvas blinds provides outdoor dining and braai facilities.

Feathers Cottage is a one-room unit with a king-size bed, lounge area, open fireplace, and French doors leading to a private garden. It features an en-suite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen opening onto a covered stoep. Both cottages come with full DSTV and fireplaces with provided wood, and have recently implemented solar power to ensure uninterrupted service during load shedding.

The estate boasts 14 dams and 4 kilometers of river stocked with trout, making it ideal for fly-fishing enthusiasts. Wildlife including Zebras, Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Blesbok, Cerval, and bush pig roam freely. Concrete walking paths throughout the estate accommodate hikers, runners, and mountain bikers. A new 35-kilometer off-road cycling track through forest and mountain terrain is under construction, scheduled to open after the winter season.

Top-class catering services from Dullstroom can be arranged for both cottages, and the area is noted for its superior water quality, particularly appealing to malt whisky enthusiasts.
