Watervale Lodge

Watervale Lodge is a facility that offers accommodation, outdoor activities, and home-cooked meals in a tranquil, secure, and beautiful country setting in Inchanga, located halfway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, close to the N3. The comfortable en-suite rooms inside the Main Lodge, as well as the outside en-suite rooms and log cabins with separate ablutions, carry an African flavor and are situated in a quiet and beautiful African setting.

Campers are welcome at Watervale Lodge, and they can set up their tents in the grassy areas near the log cabins and ablutions or anywhere else on the 25-hectare property, which is securely surrounded by an electric fence. Guests can wake up in the morning to the sounds of abundant bird life and take a walk in the grounds, where they may be fortunate enough to encounter some of the small wildlife at Watervale, such as Oribi and Duiker. Additionally, a few Hamerkop families have made Watervale their home.

The lodge offers a large wooden dormitory log cabin with 10 single beds and outside toilets and showers.
