Welbedacht Game & Nature Reserve is a scenic retreat located in the Tulbagh Valley, approximately an hour's drive from Cape Town. It features six well-appointed self-catering cottages and a thatched barn ideal for group bookings, retreats, and family gatherings.

Each secluded unit provides privacy and peace, with amenities such as shady verandas, private mountain water plunge pools, braai (BBQ) areas, and log fireplaces. Visitors can enjoy various outdoor activities, including game viewing, nature trails, bird watching, swimming in the dam, exploring the labyrinth, and encountering the reserve's free-roaming horses.

The reserve features spectacular valley views, majestic surrounding mountains, and wild, beautiful landscapes to explore. Visitors can indulge in tranquil spaces for roaming or resting, ensuring a memorable experience. Welbedacht Game & Nature Reserve has hosted small weddings with ceremonies held under oak trees, within the Labyrinth surrounded by natural forest, or in the gazebo in The Blue Butterfly gardens.

Game viewing opportunities are available through light, moderate, and more challenging walks across the 150-hectare natural land, which borders the Groot Winterhoek Wilderness Reserve. Visitors can spot zebras, wildebeests, springboks, and the reserve's free-roaming horses.
