Weltevrede Lion Farm

Weltevrede Lion Farm is a game reserve owned by Nico and Karen Roets, who have a passion for wild animals. The farm features a 14-hectare dam where guests can observe various wildlife species such as hartebeest, gemsbok, zebra, black wildebeest, blesbok, eland, bat-eared fox, and springbok. The owners have developed this reserve to provide guided tours for visitors to experience the majestic lion, wild dog, and cheetah.

The accommodation at Weltevrede Lion Farm consists of luxurious chalets and cottages. Self-catering facilities are available in a beautiful lapa and small kitchenettes in each cottage. There are six self-catering chalets on the farm, with four units located close to the restaurant at the lion camp, and two chalets overlooking the dam in the game reserve for a more private stay.

Guests are invited to experience a truly South African atmosphere at the fully licensed restaurant and bar on the premises. The menu caters to various preferences, offering breakfasts, lunches, family dinners, and quick snacks. The restaurant is suitable for hosting unforgettable weddings, functions, and children's parties, accommodating up to 150 guests with the best catering in the area.
