Weltevreden Game Lodge

Weltevreden Game Lodge is situated on the Modder River, 25 kilometers north of Bloemfontein. It offers picturesque views and opportunities for observing wildlife. The lodge is a suitable venue for corporate functions, team-building activities, and peaceful getaways with family and friends.

The luxury chalets and cabanas at Weltevreden Game Lodge can accommodate up to 33 guests. The premises also feature a sundowner deck, a boma area, and a lapa area. The well-equipped conference facility can host up to 50 delegates. The lodge can also cater for intimate weddings and anniversary or birthday celebrations for up to 50 guests.

Activities available at Weltevreden Game Lodge include fishing, game drives, team-building exercises, and bird-watching. Guests can enjoy picnics at the viewpoint on the hill or relax with a sundowner on the river deck. The lodge provides catering services for intimate weddings, year-end functions, anniversaries, and birthday celebrations. These events can include a red carpet, gazebo, chairs with covers, a cross, and a podium.

Weltevreden Game Lodge also offers a self-catering bush camp with two bungalows that can accommodate eight people. This private and exclusive nature experience is tucked away in the bush without electricity. Each bungalow has an open-plan space with a double bed and two single beds, including bedding and linen. The bungalows are equipped with basic camping equipment, crockery, cutlery, two gas bottles fitted with gas lamp and cooker plate fittings, solar-powered lights, and a gas-operated fridge. The boma area provides braai facilities for guests to enjoy their time around the fires.
