Wetlands Country Lodge

Wetlands Country Lodge is a tranquil establishment that caters to families seeking a peaceful escape. The accommodation comprises two self-catering cottages, namely Highlands Cottage and Wetlands Cottage, both lovingly furnished.

Highlands Cottage is situated on a hill overlooking the farmland. It features three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, as well as a smaller children's bedroom attached to one of the rooms. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and an open-plan lounge area. The patio leads onto a large garden with a braai area.

Wetlands Cottage also has three bedrooms, with the main bedroom en-suite and the remaining two bedrooms sharing a single bathroom. Additionally, there is a separate bunk bedroom located 10 meters away from the cottage, accommodating four guests. This cottage features an open-plan lounge, a fireplace with wood provided, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a timber deck outside and a large covered patio with a braai facility.

Guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of country living, sitting on the patio with a drink while watching the sunset over the farm, and snuggling up around the fire when it gets cold. There are trout dams close to the cottages, which provide excellent fly-fishing opportunities when fully stocked. It is advisable to check with the establishment regarding the stock levels, as they may vary. Pets are welcome at the Wetlands Country Lodge.
