Whalesong Lodge is a small and intimate guest house situated on top of the rugged De Kelders Cliffs, overlooking the picturesque Walker Bay. It serves as an ideal base for spending several days exploring the surrounding area, which is a paradise for whale watching, shark cage diving, or leisurely coastal walks.

The lodge features five spacious bedrooms, each stylishly designed and offering sea views and small private balconies. The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with underfloor heating, separate bathtubs, and showers. The comfortable open-plan lounge and dining room lead out onto a wooden deck, where guests can relax by a cozy fireplace and enjoy a selection of South African red wines.

The wooden deck also provides access to a small swimming pool, and guests can swim at the nearby beach. A short drive takes visitors to several sandy beaches in the area. Whalesong Lodge is located in the Overberg region on the Cape southwest coast, approximately two hours from Cape Town. The quaint fishing village of Gansbaai, world-renowned for its great white sharks, is just minutes away from the lodge's fishing harbor, ensuring a plentiful supply of fresh seafood.

The modern open-plan bedrooms at Whalesong Lodge include a reading chair and a writing desk. Each room has a changing area that leads to a functional bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower, as well as underfloor heating for the winter months. All four standard rooms feature small balconies with partial sea views.
