White Elephant Bush Camp

White Elephant Bush Camp is a self-catering lodge that offers a relaxed and private bush experience. When guests book the Bush Camp, they have exclusive access to the entire camp for their group. The thatched en-suite chalets are generously spacious, featuring quality linen and overhead fans. The open-plan kitchen, dining room, bar, and swimming pool with spectacular views create a "close to nature" relaxed ambiance.

Guests can venture into the wilderness with a field guide on bush walks, game drives, boat cruises, or try fishing for tiger fish. White Elephant Bush Camp provides an escape from the busy, hurried world for families and friends. The camp has added extra beds to some rooms to accommodate families with children.

Bush Camp can accommodate up to 23 guests (with a maximum of 19 adults) as follows: Chalets 1-3 have twin beds and en-suite showers; Chalet 4 has three single beds and an en-suite shower; Chalet 5 has twin beds, a day bed, an en-suite shower, and a bathtub; Chalet 6 is a family unit with twin beds, one double bunk bed, an en-suite shower, and a bathtub; Chalet 7 is a family unit with an en-suite shower, two double bunk beds, and one king-size bed.

Being located in a reserve next to Lake Jozini offers spectacular scenery and enables the camp to offer river cruises, fishing, game drives, and walks. The river safari provides views of crocodiles and hippos, and guests are welcome to bring their own boats.

Bush Camp has large rooms, many of which are family rooms. The swimming pool is a hit in the summer, and children enjoy fishing and going on the river by boat. The camp area is large and safe enough for children to wander around and look for bugs.
