The Wild Dog Guest Lodge is situated on the Greenbelt of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, a conserved 680-hectare reserve located at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg Mountain escarpment, between the Blyde River Valley and Kruger National Park. The exclusive estate's pristine lowveld bush is home to a splendid array of plants, birds, and animals. Impalas, kudus, zebras, waterbucks, giraffes, and wildebeests graze peacefully, while stocky warthogs search for roots and tubers. Hyena and leopard sightings occur frequently within the estate, while nocturnal creatures operate with their highly developed senses during the magical star-graze African nights.
