Wild Sky Lodge

Wild Sky Lodge is situated at the foot of Mahaqwa Mountain in Bulwer, KwaZulu-Natal. The lodge is well-known for its warm atmosphere and hand-built log cabins, giving it a welcoming feeling. It has a communal fully equipped kitchen with a crackling fireplace, a lounge, and a dining area. Outside, there is a braai area with views of the mountain on one side and the valley on the other. The accommodation offered is rustic but comfortable, suitable for anyone from campers to families.

The area offers a vast choice of activities for family members and non-pilots, including paragliding, horse riding, river rafting, hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, fly fishing, and more. The Backpackers Unit consists of ten single beds, two of which are in a separate room for more privacy. It is comfortable and clean, with bedding provided, though it is recommended to bring extra blankets during the winter as it gets chilly at night.
