The Wilderness Beach House Backpackers Lodge is an old house with light and airy beach white dorms that offer sea views and rooms with windows overlooking endless blue skies. It has a herb garden where bees hum away the lazy summer days, inviting visitors to take a stroll or spend an afternoon reading. The lodge also features a pub with one of the best views in the world, where Annie's food pairs perfectly with ice-cold drinks and a game of pool.

The beach is within a stone's throw from the viewing decks, where early morning viewings between May and November offer the opportunity to watch whales just beyond the surf. At 9 am, visitors can enjoy a delicious healthy breakfast, complete with a fresh-baked muffin, on the open-air terrace before heading off for a day of adventure or rest. The area offers a variety of activities, including horse riding, paragliding, hiking, and surfing, catering to both those on a flying visit and those intending to spend a few days recovering from a busy travel schedule. Action, paragliding, kite surfing, and dreamy days mix well in the Wilderness.

The lodge features a communal kitchen equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, cutlery and crockery, and fridge/freezers. It also offers standard double rooms.
