Willinga Lodge

Willinga Lodge is situated in the secure village of Kosmos, offering stunning views of Hartbeespoortdam. The lodge is located approximately 45 minutes away from Johannesburg and Pretoria. It aims to provide a Bali-inspired ambiance in Africa, with its tropical garden setting and well-appointed private suites.

The lodge features six private suites equipped with luxury jacuzzi baths, ceramic wood-fueled fireplaces, coffee and tea making trays, CD players, fridges, and braai facilities on the terrace or at the Lapa by the pool. The en-suite bathrooms have jacuzzi baths and showers, with some being double and some located outside.

Within the tropical garden, guests can enjoy a lovely saltwater rock pool and a cuddle jacuzzi located under the trees. The garden features a variety of hibiscus and other tropical plants, creating a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Superb English breakfasts are served on the deck or in the new Bali dining room, offering wonderful views of the dam.

The lodge plans to offer a meeting room for executives in the new dining room and entertainment area of the main Bali house. This area features a magnificent design with the roof, windows, and doors fully imported from Bali. Guests have access to a TV lounge with DStv and a large self-catering gourmet kitchen. Picnic baskets can be pre-arranged, and a private wine cellar is available on the premises.

Ingrid and Will, the hosts, provide wonderful hospitality and speak English, Dutch, Afrikaans, and German. Small pets are welcome, and a masseuse can provide services in the suites upon request. Four suites have a spa bath and fireplace, while one suite has a fireplace. All suites are designed to ensure privacy. The Bali Suite is decorated in a tropical style with a queen-size bed, a lounge area with a ceramic fireplace, and a two-seater spa bath in the en-suite bathroom overlooking the tropical garden. French doors lead to a private patio with a braai and views.
