Wind-Rose Guest House

The Wind-Rose Guest House is situated on nearly one hectare of beautifully landscaped indigenous gardens, including a swimming pool. It offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life while still being conveniently located close enough to enjoy all the best attractions that Cape Town, the "Mother City," has to offer. The guest house is centrally located in an area that provides access to restaurants, beaches, horseback riding, bird watching, hiking trails, deep sea fishing, water skiing, diving, whale watching, and wine tasting.

The Wind-Rose Guest House features a recreational room that opens to an outdoor barbeque area, where guests can enjoy a traditional South African braai and refreshing drinks at the fully licensed bar or socialize with friends in the informal lounge area. For fitness enthusiasts, a fully equipped gym is available, complete with a treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine, bicycle, weight machine, and more.

The spacious rooms (50 square meters) offer ultimate accommodation and are large enough to separate the sleeping and lounge areas. Each room features a king-size bed and a double sleeper couch. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower and bath, except for the wheelchair-accessible room, which has only a shower. The first-floor bedrooms offer magnificent mountain or far ocean and garden views with spectacular sunsets over False Bay, while the ground-floor rooms offer equally spectacular sunset views over the immaculate gardens.

Breakfast can be served in the dining room or on the verandah. Gordon's Bay, where the Wind-Rose Guest House is located, truly embodies the term 'picturesque coastal village.' Lying at the sun-drenched foot of the Hottentots Holland range, which drops straight into an azure sea, its harbor is a constant buzz of holiday activity.

The Wind-Rose Guest House accommodates guests in various languages. While they do not have an on-site spa, they make use of a traveling beauty therapist and masseuse. The Thai Mukda Spa is only a 5-minute drive away. The spacious rooms on the first floor offer mountain, garden, and far sea views. Guests can relax on their private balcony and watch the beautiful sunsets. Each room is equipped with a king-size bed, TV, free Wi-Fi, fridge, air conditioning, tea/coffee station, safe, iron, and hairdryer.
