Witkrans Farm

Witkrans Farm is a property located in the Flower Valley region of the Overberg, Western Cape, South Africa. It offers self-catering accommodation in the form of two separate cottages, Buchu Cottage and Cone Bush Cottage. The farm is situated approximately two hours away from Cape Town.

Buchu Cottage is a four-sleeper cottage with stunning mountain views. It features a small indoor fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and an undercover patio with a braai area. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the other with two single beds.

Cone Bush Cottage was once located in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve. It features a fireplace and an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage offers a private path leading to a swimming dam, as well as a covered patio and braai area with views of the surrounding mountains. Guests can enjoy stargazing while relaxing in the wood-burning hot tub situated in the garden. Additionally, the garden features a fire pit and a cozy seating area with cushions.

Witkrans Farm offers breathtaking views of the Witkrans and Swartkrans mountains, as well as well-marked hiking trails of varying distances. The property is a member of Birdlife SA, and a bird list is available for guests. It is conveniently located for easy access to neighboring venues such as De Uijlenes, Murasie, and Platbos, as well as the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy MTB trail Klipspringer. The farm is also situated just 15 minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Franskraal and Stanfords Cove in De Kelders.
