Wolfkop Nature Reserve is a 450-hectare private property located 5km from Citrusdal at the foothills of the Cederberg mountain range in South Africa. The reserve features unique fauna and flora and offers sweeping views of the Citrusdal valley. Nine privately-appointed houses are scattered throughout the property, each designed to provide ultimate privacy and seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings.
The accommodation options vary in size and amenities. Tolbos and Boegoe Cottages each offer two bedrooms, while Leopard Rock House features three bedrooms and bathrooms, complete with a plunge pool and hot tub. Rooibos, a loadshedding-free retreat, provides two en-suite bedrooms and a wood-fired hot tub. Kokerboom House offers three bedrooms with convertible garage space for larger groups. Botterboom Cottage accommodates four guests in two bedrooms, while Harpuis Huis is the largest with five bedrooms. Waboom houses eight guests in four bedrooms, and Spekboom House features four en-suite bedrooms with king-size beds, an infinity pool, and multiple fireplaces.
The reserve offers various activities including mountain biking, hiking trails, horse riding, canoeing, and bodyboard tours on the Olifants River. Visitors can also enjoy gin and wine tastings in the Citrusdal Valley, explore the Cederberg Stadsaal Caves, or visit the Nieuw Brew facility at Kromrivier. All houses are self-catering and equipped with both indoor and outdoor fireplaces, providing spectacular 180-degree views of the Citrusdal Valley.
