Wolwekrantz Guest Cottage

Wolwekrantz Guest Cottage is situated up a mountain road, away from the hustle and bustle. It is set on a large property that offers stunning views of the bay, mountains, harbor, and beach. Despite its secluded location, everything is in close proximity, with the beach being just 1 km away from the house.

The cottage exudes character with its natural stone, wood, and terracotta accents. The open-plan lounge and dining area feature comfortable sofas and Oregon pine furniture, complemented by large wooden windows that frame the breathtaking views. Adjoining this space is a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances such as a microwave, hob, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and fridge.

The accommodation can comfortably host four guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, built-in cupboards, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. A wooden staircase leads to the cozy attic bedroom, which is a favorite among children, offering two single beds. A second bathroom with a shower and separate toilet is conveniently located downstairs.

Guests can explore the surrounding area by hiking up the mountain, where they can enjoy panoramic views that stretch as far as Cape Point. Alternatively, they can relax by the swimming pool in the magnificent garden, which features shaded ponds fed by a mountain stream. The secluded and shady garden also provides a tranquil setting for guests to braai or simply watch the squirrels play in the oak trees. The host, Jacqui, who is fluent in German, Dutch, and some French, adds an extra level of comfort for European guests.
