Woodbury Lodge

Woodbury Lodge is a four-star rated accommodation facility situated spectacularly against a cliff overlooking the Bushmans River valley in the Amahkala Game Reserve. It provides an intimate and tranquil experience of the Eastern Cape riverine bushveld. The lodge is an ideal place for families to relax and enjoy the bush together. Guests often have the opportunity to witness the late afternoon sighting of an elephant herd passing by.

All rooms at Woodbury Lodge feature private decks and large bathrooms with a view over the plains. Child minding facilities are available. A range of game viewing activities, such as river cruises and bush walks, are offered, and guests can also relax around the communal swimming pool while enjoying the company of various bird species. It is important to note that children under the age of 6 are not permitted on game drives.

The lodge offers Family Rooms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and viewing decks. The bathrooms are equipped with a bath, shower, and underfloor heating. Additionally, the Family Rooms include a partitioned-off room with two single beds for children.
