Woodbury Tented Camp

Woodbury Tented Camp is located in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. It is situated within the Amakhala Game Reserve, overlooking the floodplain of the Bushman's River. The camp offers a rustic and secluded luxury experience, providing an authentic African wildlife safari.

The camp comprises seven large, comfortable tents with en-suite facilities, raised on bases with private patios. Each tent can be configured with either twin or double beds, based on guest preferences. The tents offer seclusion, tranquility, and an intimate connection with the surrounding bush environment.

The camp's main area features a stone, thatch, and canvas dining and lounge area with an expansive deck overlooking the Woodbury plain and waterhole. Visitors can observe various game species, such as zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, rhinos, and elephants, as well as soaring fish eagles, while relaxing in the main area.

Guests can unwind by the pool, enjoying sun loungers, cocktails, tea, and freshly baked cakes before embarking on their next expedition in the reserve. The camp accommodates families, with two adjoining tents connected by a balcony, allowing parents to enjoy privacy while keeping their children nearby.

The main canvas safari tent includes an en-suite basin, shower, and a separate private toilet, providing guests with comfortable amenities during their stay at Woodbury Tented Camp.
