Zebra Kalahari Lodge

The Zebra Kalahari Lodge is an exclusive accommodation situated within the 10,000-hectare Intu Afrika Private Game Reserve in the Hardap region of Namibia. Located in the southwestern Kalahari along the upper Auob river system, the property is characterized by distinctive red parallel dunes and unique desert vegetation.

As the most decadent of three lodges within the reserve, Zebra Kalahari Lodge offers an elegant fusion of comfort and wilderness. The main lodge features a lounge with leather seating, a deck-based dining area overlooking a waterhole and swimming pool, and a welcoming bar. A fish pond and beautiful stone and wood structures contribute to the serene atmosphere.

The lodge comprises eight spacious standard rooms connected to the main building, plus five additional Dune Suites situated a short distance away. All accommodations are air-conditioned and feature en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, lounges, desks, minibars, and coffee/tea facilities. The rooms are decorated with antique African masks and ebony furniture, creating an authentic atmosphere.

Dining is a world-class experience, with meals served on the deck overlooking the waterhole, where guests can observe abundant wildlife and birdlife. The cuisine includes game meat and organic vegetables sourced from the neighboring Twilight farm.

The property offers various activities including sunset game drives in open-air 4x4 vehicles, quad biking, bushman walks with the San people, and massage services. Guests are encouraged to stay multiple nights to experience the full range of activities and can dine at any of the reserve's three lodges.
