Zebras Crossing

Zebras Crossing is a luxurious lodge located in the UNESCO World Heritage Waterberg Malaria-free area. It is a family-run establishment with two family rooms and four deluxe rooms, situated near Modimolle and approximately a two-hour drive from Johannesburg. The lodge is situated within a private Wildlife Park, which is home to various animals such as zebras, giraffes, kudus, wildebeests, impalas, blesboks, meerkats, and many more.

Zebras Crossing offers guests the opportunity to relax beside a large pool or engage in active pursuits. Since there are no big five animals present, visitors can embark on hikes along beautiful rock pools or hire mountain bikes to explore the surrounding wildlife. Daily afternoon safaris are available, featuring sundowners at breathtaking viewpoints. The lodge's vegetable garden provides fresh, home-grown ingredients for their delicious dishes.

The wide-open spaces ensure ample opportunities for relaxation. The open-plan main lodge serves as a perfect gathering spot for guests, whether they wish to read a book with a cup of coffee or enjoy sundowners on the wide wrap-around veranda. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or on the covered patio next to a log fire, with the option of dining with beautiful views or under the African stars.

Located between the sloping hills of the Waterberg, with mesmerizing streams and rock pools, Zebras Crossing offers a peaceful surrounding for guests to plan their own adventures. The lodge caters to groups, families, and couples seeking a comfortable or adventurous indulgence in nature. Guests can laze around the pool, embark on exciting safaris, or go on adventurous wet walks.

Children are welcome at the lodge, with large open areas for them to safely run around while their parents relax on the terraces or by the pool. The Deluxe rooms feature either two double beds or one super king-size bed, as well as a private outdoor shower, large bath, hand basin, toilet, fans, and heaters.
