Ziziphus River Lodge

Ziziphus River Lodge, named after the Buffalo Thorn (Ziziphus mucronata), is an exclusive wilderness retreat situated on the southern bank of the Crocodile River in the Mjejane Private Game Reserve, Mpumalanga, South Africa. The lodge offers uninterrupted views over the Kruger National Park, providing guests with exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, including regular sightings of hippopotamus, elephant, buffalo, and lion from the comfort of the property.

The accommodation consists of two river rooms and three bush chalets, collectively hosting up to ten guests. Each unit features en-suite facilities, air conditioning, a private fridge, and a tea station. The bush chalets offer flexible bedding arrangements with king-size beds that can be converted to singles upon request.

The lodge has been thoughtfully designed to integrate with its natural surroundings, operating on sustainable principles including solar power and borehole water. Amenities include a plunge pool, fully equipped kitchen, viewing terrace, barbeque area, and both indoor and outdoor shower options.
