Zonnenstrahl Guest House is a charming accommodation located in the quiet village of Nieu Bethesda, Eastern Cape. It offers a relaxing getaway that combines old-world charm with modern conveniences, making it an ideal choice for families or friends visiting the area.

The guest house features four spacious bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, while the remaining three share a second bathroom. There is a cozy living room with a comfortable lounge area and a dining space. The fully equipped kitchen caters to all self-catering needs.

Guests have the option to reserve the entire house, accommodating up to 8 people, or choose from smaller units called Oupa Barend and Oupa Alpha. Oupa Barend sleeps 3 to 6 guests, while Oupa Alpha is suitable for 2 guests. All guests have access to the gardens and secure parking within the gated yard, providing a spacious and inviting environment.

Zonnenstrahl Guest House is the second-oldest home in the village of Nieu Bethesda, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the area's rich history and charm. During their stay, visitors can explore the village by visiting the shops and restaurants on offer. Upon returning to the guest house, they can enjoy a braai on the veranda while taking in the tranquil views of the surrounding hills and gardens, as well as the star-filled night sky.

It is important to note that a minimum of three guests is required for Oupa Barend. Oupa Alpha is a large unit with a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a lounge area with a fireplace, and French doors leading out to the patio and garden. It does not have a full kitchen but is equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, cutlery, crockery, and a kettle.
