Zulu Rock Lodge - Babanango Game Reserve

Zulu Rock Lodge is a luxury accommodation situated in the Babanango Game Reserve, South Africa. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The lodge features 5 Luxury Rooms, 1 Romance Suite, and 1 Family Villa, all designed with minimalist decor and Zulu artifacts. The suites are equipped with fireplaces, decks, and amenities such as air conditioning, minibars, and coffee stations.

The lodge features various facilities, including indoor and outdoor dining areas, a lounge, an African-styled bar, a wine cellar, a gift shop, and a pool deck with sun loungers. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for guests.

Zulu Rock Lodge is located within the Babanango Game Reserve, spanning 19,895 hectares of pristine wilderness. The reserve is home to abundant wildlife, including Cheetah, Leopard, Brown Hyena, Jackal, Buffalo, Hippo, Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Eland, Red Hartebeest, Kudu, Nyala, Mountain Reedbuck, Aardvark, and Aardwolf. Lion and Elephant are planned to be introduced by late 2022. Additionally, the reserve hosts 32 species of butterflies and 311 species of birds, including rare species such as the Pel's Fishing Owl, Narina Trogon, Black Eagles, Lappet-Faced and White-Backed Vultures, Crowned Eagles, and nine breeding pairs of Blue Cranes.

Guests can participate in guided nature drives offered by the lodge twice a day. Cultural tours to nearby historical sites like the Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift battlefields will be available soon.
