Camp Marula @ Grootfontein Private Nature Reserve

Camp Marula is a favourite with its camping guests because it is located in a remote part of the farm which is nestled at the foothills of surrounding mountains.

It has x4 camping sites (which SafariNow calls 'ROOMS'), an ablution block and a splash pool and braai lookout area that overlooks the valley.

It caters to self-sufficient 4x4 enthusiasts because it is accessible only with SUV, 4x4 or diff-lock vehicles that are strong enough to tow their caravans and trailers up an incline.

There is one road in and out of the camp site and it is isolated from the rest of the reserve.

It is located 4km from the farm gate on farm roads.
