Matopos Plaas Huis @ Grootfontein Private Nature Reserve

Matopos is a 2 bedroom holiday cabin made entirely from recycled farm materials and the stones from our mountains.

It has a large living space complete with a pool table, dart board and various board games.

There are 2 rooms in this lodge: the first is a large bedroom with a ensuite bathroom and a queen sized bed.

The second room is smaller with either a double bed or a bunk bed depending on the amount of guests staying there.

It also has an ensuite bathroom.

Matopos has a splash pool and a braai area that overlooks the koppie ahead.The lodge is off the grid with no cell phone signal to speak of however it does has WiFi.

The kitchen has a double gas hob for cooking and a gas fridge freezer.

The hot water system is powered by a farm made hot water donkey that the staff light at 5pm daily to ensure hot showers at night and in the morning.Housekeeping is provided daily!
