Honne-Pondokkies

Honne-Pondokkies is located in the remote village of Hondeklip Bay on the Namaqualand coast, where peace and tranquility are a way of life, and people live in harmony with their surroundings. It is an establishment that welcomes all visitors, who are free to wander without restraint or apprehension along a picturesque 14 km shoreline.

Honne-Pondokkies offers six self-catering units with views of the ocean from the patios, within walking distance to the beach. Units 1, 2, and 7 are typical, beautiful, and luxurious west coast accommodations. Units 3, 4, 5, and 6 are luxurious wood chalets with thatched roofs. All units, except for Unit 7, have DStv and offer a full sea view. Each unit has its own braai area, and there is also a braai room available for rainy days. Guests can enjoy a sundowner on the patio while watching beautiful sunsets.

The establishment also features a huge lapa and boma for more adventurous guests. All units are fully equipped with gas stoves (including ovens) and microwave ovens. Additionally, there is a beautiful, luxurious dining room where guests can enjoy a warm, delicious breakfast at the facility (booking required upon arrival).

Honne-Pondokkies proudly offers a beautiful swimming pool and braai area for the enjoyment of the whole family. Children can entertain themselves at the fun park. All seven units are pet-friendly, but at the owner's own risk.

Hondeklip Bay is approximately 90 km on a gravel road from Garies and 200 km from Springbok. Petrol and diesel are available in Koiingaas, which is approximately 22 km from Hondeklip Bay. The quaint village has three restaurants.

Brakanjan is a free-standing, luxurious caravan for more adventurous guests. The caravan is fully equipped with electricity, bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery, a gas stove, and a microwave oven. It also has a bar fridge.
