Honne-Pondokkies

Honne-Pondokkies is a charming accommodation establishment situated in the remote village of Hondeklip Bay on the Namaqualand coast, approximately 300 meters from the beach. The location offers guests access to a picturesque 14km shoreline in an environment where peace and tranquility prevail.

The property features seven self-catering units, including three traditional West Coast-style accommodations (Units 1, 2, and 7) and four luxurious wood chalets with thatched roofs (Units 3, 4, 5, and 6). All units except Unit 7 are equipped with DStv and provide full sea views. Each unit includes a private braai area, and a communal braai room is available for inclement weather. The units come fully equipped with gas stoves, ovens, and microwave ovens.

The establishment boasts additional amenities including a swimming pool, children's fun park, and a luxurious dining room where breakfast can be arranged. A large lapa and boma are available for guests seeking a more adventurous experience. Hondeklip Bay is accessible via a 90km gravel road from Garies and lies 200km from Springbok. The village features three restaurants, with fuel services available in nearby Koiingaas, approximately 22km away. All accommodation units are pet-friendly, though pets are accepted at the owner's risk.
