The Honnehokke Resort is a three-star graded establishment by TGCSA. It was the first accommodation facility established in Hondeklipbaai, founded in 1993 and renovated in 2013. Various magazines have highlighted it as the most friendly holiday establishment on the Namaqualand West Coast.

The resort offers spacious, homely, comfortable, and clean chalets that are fully equipped. Each chalet can accommodate one to six guests at affordable prices and has an en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom. Additionally, each chalet features a private braai area, though guests can also utilize the braai area in the entertainment area. The resort provides amenities such as an extensive library, table tennis, a pool table, and a Trojan Power Station Gym.

The Honnehokke Resort is a tranquil oasis for those seeking respite from city life. Guests can relax by the beach, watch beautiful sunsets, go cycling, and enjoy other activities. Small breed socialized pets are also welcome. The resort features the town's only covered swimming pool, where guests can cool off if they prefer not to face the cold ocean waters.

However, the resort's location in Hondeklipbaai, part of the Namib desert, comes with challenges. The town has limited water availability, and low municipal water pressure can sometimes prevent efficient hot water supply. In such cases, the resort utilizes a backup system from its private water tank. During peak tourist seasons, the town's water supply may be low, and guests may be asked to use water sparingly or limit their usage of the tank water.

Hondeklipbaai can only be reached by dirt roads, which may not always be in good condition. Power cuts and unreliable cell phone coverage and internet availability are also common in the area. The resort recommends stocking up on supplies before arriving in town. It is important to note that the Honnehokke Resort is not affiliated with any other establishment in town, and its facilities are exclusively for its guests.

The resort caters to families with children of all ages, but children under the age of twelve must be accompanied by a parent when using the swimming pool area. Self-catering chalets feature a queen-sized bed and three single beds (one bunk bed) in separate rooms, with a shared bathroom in the main bedroom and an outdoor fireplace.
